aSSIST opens fall semester offering double degrees at its Seoul campus

aSSIST (Seoul School of Integrated Sciences & Technologies) opened its fall semester on September 7, 2017 in Seoul.
aSSIST headed by Prof. Tae-Hyun Kim with EdD is the nation's leading professional business school offering Masters and Ph.D degrees in business administration and arts since 2004 after education programs were succeeded from IPS (the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies) which was originally launched in 1995.
Through these degree programs accompanied with top executive programs, aSSIST aims to foster business professionals and artists capable of generating sustainability

   
 

All MBA students can acquire double degrees from prominent business schools overseas
All students at aSSIST are able to achieve a Master's degree in business administration together with a second degree from a renowned university in Europe or the U.S.
Students are able to transfer credits to partner universities through aSSIST's established double degree agreements, as well as choose to earn transferable credits directly from partner schools through local programs offered by partner institutions. As a result, individuals can reduce time spent overseas and at the same time save tuition costs, because the programs are designed to allow the double degrees obtainable within a term of 1.5 years, enabling students to benefit from reducing tuition fee and length of stay in Korea. Among  students who joined the fall semester for  doujble degree included Ms Miin JJi -young, a prominent  traditional Korean dance artist who is heading the Ariart Performing Art Troupe in Seoul.Prof.Choi Ho-hyun who holds doctor of education(EdD) is responsible for  Culture Arts Division of the fall semester class.

'We offer global standard of business administration teaching and specialized major in reflection with the change of business trends,' Prof. Kim said.
aSSIST supports students to develop global level business capability and grow into professional with specific specialized major within the business administration area. The specialized majors include Intellectual property, Sales Innovation, Finance, Industrial Security, Alternative Investment and Big Data and these are areas that function as the integral part of companies or that add higher value to the company in future industry. We also offer short practical courses with high quality curriculum such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) course, Industrial Security Professional (ISP) course, aSSIST-KOTRA Global marketing course.

'Our school has been evaluated as the NO.1 graduate school of business administration for talent education by such leading companies as LG Electronics, KT, Doosan Intracore, Samshully, Korea Electronic Power Corporation, LIG, Dong-kuk Steel and MG Community Credit Cooperatives.

   
 

Selected staff members of these companies continuously are attending short and long term academic programs offered by aSSIST nowadays.
The classes offered at aSSIST, are carried out as an Open Platform System, meaning that the faculty staff is comprised of the best experts from around the world, inviting the best of the best from various universities and organizations.
"Our teaching faculty is comprised of both professors and practitioners in the related field, and they aim to teach both theoretical and practical knowledge, delivering balanced education required for today’s talents in business. All lectures are evaluated by students of all programs and courses for maintenance of high quality teaching," Prof.Kim said.
