ABU DHABI, 29th November, 2017 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on Wednesday visited the "Hakaya Misk Festival," which is organised by the Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Foundation, MiSK, in collaboration with the Arab Youth Centre, AYC.
Sheikh Abdullah toured the festival, held at Umm Al Emarat Park in Abu Dhabi, where he was briefed about the activities, including the writing workshop, painting arena, animation lab, hakaya (tale) digital and hakaya souq.
He praised Hakaya Misk as one of the pioneering Saudi events across the Arab world. He added that the festival coincides with the celebrations of UAE's 46th National Day anniversary and reflects the strong relations between the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
"Arab youth need such initiatives, which help create role models, strengthen ties and provide a platform for the youth to share their ideas, ambitions and dreams," Sheikh Abdullah said.
He also saluted HRH Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, who attaches great importance to the youth and their vital role in the future of the region and the world.
Sheikh Abdullah referred to the partnership between MiSK and AYC, which highlights the keenness of Saudi Arabia and the UAE in supporting the youth to develop their capabilities and skills.
He urged the youth to join this event, which seeks to provide them with adequate opportunities for development.
