A gala event jointly organized by Embassy of Fiji in Seoul and Korea-Fiji Friendship Association(KFFA) was held at Koreana Hotel in downtown Seoul on July 12.
The event came after MOU signed by the Fiji Embassy and KFFA in Seoul on June 27 for promotions of two-way trade and tourist traffic between two coountries.Fiji is famous for its soft coral diving, white sand beaches and pristine natural environment among others.
For business travel there is no better place halfway between North America and Asia.
Tourism remains Fiji’s largest foreign exchange earner with mre than 800,000 foreign tourists visit Fiji annually, according to Amb.Periana Tagimaucia Lalabalavu.
Lee Myong-koo, president of KFFA pledged to do his utmost efforts to promote two-way business relations and exchange of people including tourists and students between two friendly countries at the event joined by more than 400 visitors representing all segments of Korean public, business and cultural sectors.
